スーパーに買い物に行くと、最近は、レジ袋が有料になっています。
この理由は、レジ袋は便利なのですけれども、環境問題を加速させてしまう理由にもなっているものであるということでした。
2020年7月から、有料化することで、それが本当に必要かを考えるということです。
有料化すると、必要かどうかがわかるのか？
これまで、無償で行われているものを有料化してみる。
そうすると、その必要性が見えてくる。
この実験をしてみたいものとして、挙げられるものはありそうです。
私個人のことを考えると、このHPを作るきっかけとなった、PD Avengersの活動を日本にも伝え、患者が医療や研究にも参画し、医療関係者や研究者などと協力して、パーキンソン病を終わらせることに関する活動が思い浮かびます。
この活動にお金はかかっています。 電気代、PCなどの設備代、情報を収集したり、資料をまとめるための様々なアプリケーション。最近は、サブスクリプションとして、継続してお金を支払うものです。
おそらく、これをやめたからと言って、今、誰かが困るわけではないのかもしれません。
患者視点を持つ、薬学系の基礎研究者が慣れない英語で海外の患者さんや研究者と交流を持ち、そのことを、ぽつぽつとつぶやいているだけですから。
しかしながら、世界（英語圏が中心ですが）から日本を見ることができ、世界規模で取り組まなければならない課題の一端が把握できるかもしれません。
戦争が起きている国の状況を鑑みると、日本は備えなくていいのだろうか、とも思います。
マスコミが情報操作している中で、ある側面からリアルな体験をし、アウトプットはできるかもしれません。
一方、有料化してみたら、どうなるか？
有料化に対して、責任を負わないといけないだろうな、と思います。人は、自分が心地よいと思う情報を探しに行きます。そちらには、お金を払うだろうと思います。
「マニアックな」「Geekな」「ニッチ（ではないと思うけど）な」情報に対して、お金を払う人はいないだろうなぁ。
有料化しても、特に必要ではないものなら、なくて過ごす。というところに、やはり、帰結するのだな、と思う今日この頃です。

When I think about me personally, I can think of the activities related to ending Parkinson’s disease, which led to the creation of this website, by informing Japan about the activities of PD Avengers and also involving patients in medicine and research, in cooperation with medical professionals, researchers and others.
Money has been spent on these activities. Electricity costs, equipment costs such as PCs, and various applications to collect information and compile materials. These days, it is a subscription, something I pay for on an ongoing basis.
Perhaps, just because we have stopped doing this, it will not make someone be in trouble.
It is just that basic researchers in academia with a patient perspective are interacting with patients and researchers abroad in English, which I’m not good at, and are just murmuring about it.
However, it is possible to look at Japan from a global perspective (mainly English-speaking countries) and understand some of the issues that need to be tackled on a global scale.
In view of the situation in countries where wars are taking place, I wonder if Japan does not need to be prepared.
Under the circunstances that media manipulating information, we may be able to have a realistic experience and output from certain aspects.
On the other hand, what would happen if we tried to be paid for it?
I think that we would have to take responsibility for pay-as-you-go. People will go for information that they are comfortable with. I think they would pay for the information you like .
I don’t think people will pay for information that is ‘geeky’ or ‘niche’ (but I don’t think it is niche).
If it’s something that’s paid for but not particularly necessary, People’ll spend without it.
It is disapointed that it comes down to this.
